About Bobsons Workwear

Bobsons Workwear supplies affordable and quality workwear for South African workers and businesses — quality you can trust, priced for the people who wear it.

Our story

The Bobat Group’s journey began in 1975, when Yusuf Bobat started Bobat Wholesalers, sourcing fabrics and partnering with South African CMT factories to manufacture garments for retailers and wholesalers nationwide. Over nearly 50 years, that heritage grew into corporate wear, medical and nurses’ uniforms, and custom uniform programmes.

In 2024, Imraan Bobat founded Bobsons Workwear as a dedicated workwear company, consolidating workwear under one brand and expanding into PPE & safety wear, overalls, medical uniforms & scrubs, hospitality uniforms, corporate clothing, and footwear. In September 2025, we opened our first retail store — a dual wholesale and retail model serving customers across South Africa.
